Jillian Ayson (she/her) is a hip-hop and fusion-based dancer and choreographer from Pelham, New York. She has performed and choreographed for more than 40 choreographers and dance companies throughout the greater New York City area, working across contemporary, hip-hop, fusion, and commercial dance. In addition to her performance career, Jillian has collaborated with Grammy Award–winning recording artists, Broadway productions, professional dancers, and musicians worldwide, providing physical and vocal rehabilitation support during national and international tours, as well as New York City–based rehearsals, performances, and concerts. She currently works in Orthotics and Prosthetics and serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Entertainment Dance Teams of the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets throughout the NBA season. Jillian continues to create and produce original choreography for studios and dance companies in both stage and film settings and is honored to be back for a 3rd time choreographing for the Anthology 33 series.

Daniel is a NYC based performer, choreographer and educator. As a performer, Daniel has had the opportunity to travel the country working regionally. In the realm of education and choreography he has served as choreographer, associate and dance captain for various new works pieces and tv segments, while also leading classes at various studios all over the city.

Cameron Kay is a New York based dancer and choreographer, as well as the director of movement collective “COSMOS”. She works mostly in contemporary fusion art, and loves playing with juxtaposing movement aesthetics, darker tones, and a gnarled sense of intrigue and curiosity. She enjoys multi-media collaborative work with music and film, and is the resident choreographer for Brooklyn-based band Boojum. Choreography credits include Battery Dance Festival, American College Dance Association, ClubNYC, Uptown Rising Bridge for Dance, Brooklyn Art Haus, The Chain Theatre, WAXworks at Triskelion, Sybarite, Anthology, and The Red Pavilion.

Arynna Kieara and Laniya Smith are dance artists based in New York City. They both studied at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where they obtained their BFA in Dance and Choreography. Arynna and Laniya have a shared passion for story-telling, artistic expression, and creative collaboration.

Item descriptionStephanie (she/her) is a gymnast-turned-dancer celebrating her 15th year living, dancing, and creating in New York City. She has had the pleasure to perform with, choreograph for, and compete with numerous companies and collectives during her time at MIT and now in NYC. Stephanie has worked with incredible educators including Cat Cogliandro, Mike Esperanza, and Emily Greenwell - all of whom have shaped her creative journey and given her the tools and confidence to present her own choreography all over the city. She is thrilled to be back again presenting in the 10th Anthology33 Showcase!

Sydney Manno is a New York City–based multi-hyphenate artist: dancer, choreographer, poet, producer, and founder of Storytelling with Sydney, a creative class space blending poetry, community, and choreography to explore meaningful stories through movement.
Sydney currently serves as associate choreographer for Zoje Azeke’s debut full-length work, FITNESS, created for students of Barnard College at Columbia University, where she also works as substitute dance faculty.

Ella Patterson is an NYC-based Dancer and Performer who is finishing their BA in Dance at Marymount Manhattan College. She has worked with notable choreographers such as Josh Assor, Nicholas Van Young, Christina Carminucci, Michaela Moore, Mark Orsborn, Justin Myles, Ali Koinoglou, Jodeci Milhouse, and Sameena Mitta. Ella has been in short films showcased at the LA Dance Film Festival, Philadelphia Screendance Festival, and the Cascadia Dance and Film Festival.

Samantha Paulik is an independent choreographer based in New York City. Her style focuses on energetic movement and satisfying musicality, bringing together jazz structure and contemporary flow. Sam brings a strong storytelling voice to her work- always keeping the audience at the center of the action and creating performance-forward work that is both thoughtful and approachable. She has presented work throughout NYC including Dixon Place, Spark Theatre Festival, The Secret Theatre, Triskelion Arts, Arts on Site, & more.

Gabi Roller is from Fort Worth Texas and has been an NYC resident for the last 3.5 years. In that time Gabi has joined The New Jack Cole Dancers Jazz company, teaches at Steps On Broadway, assisted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and has performed works by countless amazing choreographers. Gabi is honored to be part of Anthology 33 and thanks the team for welcoming her!

Hi it’s reese! i’m originally from Nebraska, and recently moved to New York City to pursue my passion for dance. I danced competitively for 10 years and have really found a love for choreographing and teaching since moving out here. Anthology will be my choreography debut in NY and i couldn’t be more excited! see ya’ll in may!! <3

Thalia Shaw (she/her) is graduated from NYU Steinhardt in 2024 where she studied Global Public Health and Applied Psychology. Currently, she works as a teaching artist for the National Dance Institute, a non-profit that teaches accessible dance across NYC public schools and is a member of The Neighbors, a hip hop based competition team. She is excited to collaborate with a longtime friend Delaney Keck and showcase work for Anthology.
